Wahr Hardware

One of Manistee's longest owned family businesses, Wahr Hardware began in 1914 when John Wahr and John Meyer partnered to purchase a livery stable on Division Street where they sold farm implements. The current building is a composite of several buildings that were in the area. In 1954, John Meyer was bought out by the Wahr family and the business became Wahr Hardware.
