The Buckley Carriage House

The French Provincial style carriage house was designed by the well-known Chicago architects, Holabird and Roche. Although the plans of the building are dated 1895, it was completed in 1909. A notable feature of the Carriage House is that the front doors allowed the carriages to enter, unload, and move through the barn to the rear carriage door. You will still see the original walkway from the Carriage House to the Buckley House, which still remains intact today.
