About

The Boulder Star on Flagstaff Mountain has been a Boulder tradition since 1947 and consists of 365 LED light bulbs strung in the shape of a star. The beloved display can be seen shining above Boulder from November 11th to early January. There is no hiking permitted at the Boulder Star, however, you can drive up Flagstaff Road and park at Panorama Point just beneath it for a closer view, or grab a seat beside a fire pit on one of Boulder’s patios and take in the star from afar with a hot toddy, tea or warm meal.
