Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising

The Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising is part of Colorado State University’s Department of Design and Merchandising. Its collection of 20,000 artifacts tells global stories of textiles, dress, and interior furnishings through exhibitions, courses, and programs. What began in the early 1950s as a small teaching resource is now housed in a state-of-the-art building open to campus and community visitors.
