Occupying what was originally Palisade's first dry goods store, The Blue Pig Art Gallery moved into the largest and most visible store-front in town in September 2011. After Hugus and Company, another general store - Sellers and Weyandt - operated here. A painted sign for J.W. Hugus Co. as well as a freight elevator can be seen in the back space at 301 South Main Street.
