Early tenants at this address included the C.D. Smith Drug Store until 1907, and Best Clothing Company. Starting in 1923, Bancroft and Rice Grocery & Meat Shop operated in this location. Bill and Lillian Floryancic bought the business in 1958 and moved it in 1962 when the modern Bill's AG Market was constructed across the street. The Palisade Drug Company expanded into this space, offering clothing and other items. A succession of restaurants operated in this location until 2011.
