This building was built as public restrooms in 1944 for a total cost of $6,140.20 (the United States Fruit Growers' Association contributed $4,285.65) to accommodate thousands of migrant workers. A series of other businesses were located here until the town of Palisade restored it again as public restrooms in 2015. The hand painted canvas mural in the entryway was created by Gayle Madden.
