This building housed The Palisade Tribune, the local newspaper established in 1903. The Tribune's first editor, Clinton H. Martin, moved the newspaper from the Hugus Building into this building in 1906 where it remained until 1979. Formerly known as the J.H. Sayles Building, it was constructed as a print shop.
