The Timekeeper Clock Tower stands at the center of Old Mill Junction as a tribute to the workers, travelers, and shopkeepers who shaped Old Mill Junction early commercial district.
Bronze relief panels surrounding the base depict scenes from the city’s agricultural and railroad past.
"Public monuments often commemorate extraordinary moments, but I have always been interested in honoring ordinary people. The Timekeeper Clock Tower was designed as a tribute to the workers, merchants, travelers, and families whose daily efforts built this downtown district over generations. Time is a thread that connects us all. The bronze relief panels depict scenes from community life because history is not only found in major events—it lives in everyday routines, shared experiences, and the passage of time. I hoped to create a landmark that encourages visitors to pause, reflect, and recognize their place within a much longer story." - Linda Richards
